Q: reseting a plugin

Hi, i am new to waveBurner and logic. I was listening to a song that i downloaded into WaveBurner, and added some EQ, but did not know how to compare or reset the EQ settings to normal. I know that I can press bypass to the right, or uncheck the EQ box. Or even press option click in the numbers of the eq and that resets each one. But how do i compare or reset without deleting the EQ. I guess i just want to know how to compare incase I mess up the eq while mastering the song and want to go back to the earlier setting. I think that I can in logic with the compare feature. thanks so much in advance. Lou

I've been using Waveburner for a few months now and I feel pretty broken in to it. Actually, the bypass feature is the most common and functional need of a plug in device since the beginning of rack effects. For whatever reason, the plug ins in waveburner don't easily do this. You can remove the check mark and that appears to be the best way to do it. But can you tell me, do you get annoying breaks in audio with subsequent pops when you click that checkmark?

Thanks for the great response. Yes i do get pops in the audio with the check marks. I never new what that was until you just mentioned it to me. I thought that it was the audio clipping, but when i would test the audio or go back the pop would be gone. Lou
