My MacBook Pro started acting up two days ago. The battery used to last me 6-7 hours if I only used Word and 3-4 hours if I used the internet. Now, the battery only lasts me two hours, regardless of the number or type of program I run. My computer also gets hotter than normal when it's connected to my power adapter. In addition, it takes over 2 hours to fully charge the battery (I don't remember it ever taking this long!)

Can anyone tell me if these signs are typical for a MacBook that was bought in July 2009? Here is additional information:
