I was going to ask about why I can't pair my Nokia BH 100 earphone to my new iPhone 4, but searching on iP4 bluetooth on this forum seems to bring up the answer... ie Bluetooth on the iP4 is badly enabled - an OS system problem that hopefully Apple will address. Meantime, tho, any suggestions? This earphone is a lovely little device and I'd hate to have to go spend money on something that will work with the iP - if anything does, which may be doubtful after reading threads here.
But there may be someone reading this who knows...

this has been an ongoing problem with iphone even before iphone4. for whatever reason apple does not seem to think it important enough to fix.

there are always compatibility issues with apple whether its a computer or iphone. after my computer and iphone die i will not buy any more apple products, too expensive for so much hassle.

Well, I started with the iPhone pretty late, but my iPhone4 and Nokia BH-100 seem just working fine together. I found this post just when googling for the exact same need. And it seems the self learning is the best way still.

Please go to the BH-100 manual and read page 6 "pair the headset". It will solve the issue.
