Q: Audio Units location - Snow Leopard
hi all -
thanks for reading. can someone take a minute and verify that their /Library/Audio/Components/ directory does NOT have any audio units in it?
my /Library/Audio/* and ~/Library/Audio/* directory structures are empty of all audio units - i'm a little confused as to where they might be. various sources online suggest that audio units should be in one of those two directories. mine are empty!
i've checked an older mac running tiger (10.4.11) - it keeps its AUs in /Library/Audio/Presets; on another mac (G5, 10.5) there are no AUs in /Library/Audio/* or in ~/Library/Audio/*.
my AUs work fine (i fiddle around with ableton live), but i can't find them in Finder.
any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
cheers!
PS please excuse me if this subforum is a poor choice for the question - i wasn't quite sure where to post.
