I have exactly the same issue. Did you find any solution for this problem? Remapping the function keys using some progs is possible, but I did not find any method to get the ]}-key to work properly instead of acting as caps lock.
Then again, I do not like using remapping programs. I would like the MBP to simply recognize the hardware correctly.MacBook Pro 2.2 Ghz (mid 2007), Mac OS X (10.6.4)

I do not know the answer to this, but I would try a PRAM reset and an SMC reset, and play with System Preferences, Language & Text settings.

Thanks for your support. I have tried your suggestions, but unfortunately the problem is not resolved. I think I must admit defeat and conclude that the keyboard I purchased is not compatible with my MBP.MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.4)

Sorry that didn't work for you. Perhaps your experience will help others anyway.
