I've been noticing that while watching videos online (such as Hulu) the contrast was especially off in darker scenes. Often, even with brightness turned all the way up, I could not see details on the screen. I thought it was an issue with Hulu. Today I was going through pictures I haven't reviewed in awhile in iPhoto and the same issue was happening. I was looking at pictures I knew I could see faces in previously, for example, and the faces were now only in silhouette. If I edited the photo to increase exposure, I could again see the facial details but the rest of the image was then over exposed and ruined. I went into Sys Pref and played around in there for awhile to no avail. Any ideas? Thanks much.
