Q: New Ram

Hello,
I just bought a used powerbook g4 and it doesnt have much ram so i want to upgrade it, and i found a bag of 2 512 MB 2RX16.PC2-5300S-555-12-A2.667 peices of ram. and i wanted to know if they could work in it, before i put them in and found out that it can't work

Powerbook G4 15' 1.33, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

    No, that memory won't work in a 1.33Ghz Powerbook. It requires PC2700 (333MHz) DDR SDRAM. Recommend Crucial, Kingston (not their ValueRam, though), or Samsung. Crucial guarantees their memory will work when chosen from their memory selector. The 1.33Ghz Powerbooks are sensitive to the memory used, so it's important to use quality memory.
