Currently Being ModeratedJul 31, 2010 2:50 AM (in response to shenry1407)The same problem here. I noticed this bug while sharing contacts from the contacts app and sharing my location from the maps app. I wondered why people didn't recieve my mails, only to find the mails stil in my outbox. This is very annoying since the button I clicked on really said "Send" and you would expect your mail to get send.iPhone 3GS, iOS 4, it ***** so hard you wouldn't belief it ;)

Currently Being ModeratedAug 12, 2010 3:06 PM (in response to vistaphotos)Same exact problem here. If I hit send, it appears to send. But it doesn't. I only see the emails in the outbox after a restart.
Not sure if this matters, but I have a MobileMe account that I have programmed in as an IMAP - so it will default to one of my aliases automatically. It's worked fine for three years like this.Mac OS X (10.6.4)
Currently Being ModeratedAug 27, 2010 9:58 AM (in response to shenry1407)I had this problem and I'm not sure if it was caused by iOS4 or by adding an extra gmail account to sync notes, which support was added for in iOS4. I already had an activesync exchange account to connect to gmail so I could also sync my google calendar, but this didn't support syncing notes, so I added another email account to only sync notes. Once I removed this account, emails seem to send properly.
It appears the solution is to only have one email account.Dell, Windows 7
Currently Being ModeratedNov 9, 2010 8:09 PM (in response to shenry1407)Me too... does everybody have this problem? Where is the outrage... I used to send emails from non mail apps all the time. Does nobody else do this?
Or as I suspect... It is a problem only a handful of users are having. I really don't want to reinstall but this is a serious bug.Powerbook 17 2.33, Mac OS X (10.5.1)
