I notice that Project Gutenberg can supply chinese language books to iBookstore, so I wonder if I can supply that to ibookstore too?

what requirements do I need to comply with ? Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I am sure that iBooks supports Chinese along with many other languages. The only requirement is probably that you make sure the text is encoded in Unicode UTF-8.

And I know that Project Gutenberg can upload chinese books to ibookstore, I want to know if I can do the same.

I think you need to ask Apple directly (they do not answer anything in these forums) or just try it. The chance that someone else who has done it already will read your message here is probably not great.

I did ask Apple, and they said they don't support chinese yet. But they haven't given me any information about why Project Gutenberg can supply chinese books to ibookstore,,,, I just think, if one can do that, why the others cannot do?

You are right, that makes no sense. When it comes to language issues, Apple support can easily be totally wrong too. I think it would be worth trying….
