I have one user who it seems has a problem with Wiki permissions.
They are in the Group for the wiki but they cannot access it.
I have tried various things even some command line stuff but the user stubbornly will not get added…
Very odd, has anyone seen this…?
Does anyone have a magic bullet idea to give a user permissions that they should already have ?
Thanks...

Mac OS X Server, Mac OS X (10.6.4)

Is the user account in AD or OD?

Try checking the contents of the /Library/Collaboration/Groups/groupname/metadata.plist file.
Make sure the proper username are all present in the readAccess or writeAccess keys.

This is a total killer for us…
No one can log in to wiki's or calendars, but they can login to squirrel mail...

Has your issue changed since your first post?

When you create a wiki, a folder is created in /Library/Collaboration/Groups that corresponds to the name of the wiki. For example, if you created a wiki called "Test Wiki", you would then see new folder at the path /Library/Collaboration/Groups/testwiki/. At the root of that folder, you will find several subfolders, and a file called metadata.plist. If you want, you can post the name of the user that doesn't have access, and post the contents of the metadata.plist file, and we can all take a look to see if everything looks right.

    This worked for one user…

When you create a wiki, a folder is created in /Library/Collaboration/Groups that corresponds to the name of the wiki. For example, if you created a wiki called "Test Wiki", you would then see new folder at the path /Library/Collaboration/Groups/testwiki/. now I have one user who stubbornly will not appear in the group..(They are in the goup, just not with all privileges)
