It definitely had nothing to do with dovecot or the 10H575 itself.
I am picking up emails from a host server in the DMZ which also runs dovecot as IMAP service. Normally it only fetches emails that haven't been retrieved already. After the upgrade all previous emails have been delivered again which are stored on the DMZ server.
A quick script now has flagged all mail objects older than the exact time of the update to be "seen". That did the trick.Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.5)
Currently Being ModeratedNov 17, 2010 6:12 AM (in response to darkcruix)Are you sure you are on correct build? Apparently there was a bad link in an earlier apple KB post which sent people to the original (bad) combo updater instead of new one.
To check build, bring up About This Mac and click the 'Version 10.6.5' text under 'Mac OS X Server' (apologies if you already know this).

The two servers are on the same build 10H575. Everything is working fine at this stage and once more I can't tell how wonderful it is to have flat files for the mail store.Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.5)
