Please start a new thread with your issue.
have better support from Microsoft! - At least they respond!!

Then you should post over at microsoft.com support forums.
Are you expecting a response from Apple in these user-to-user forums?

I also suggest you update your OS to 10.6.4 before you worry about anything else.

    Make your own shortcut:

    Open System Preferences
    Keyboard
    Keyboard Shortcuts
    Application Shortcuts
    hit "+" key
    Select iTunes from dropdown menu
Type "Burn Playlist to Disc" in "Menu title" box
Type your shortcut in "Keyboard Shortcut" box

If your shortcut doesn't work try something else - it probably clashes with a existing shortcut.

I too get so aggravated when a software company removes something that I have come to use and expect (reminds me of Microsoft removing the "card file" view for the Contacts of Office/Outlook 2011). I was trying to walk my 93 year old aunt on how to burn a CD of a license-free podcast over the phone of a sermon she wanted to listen to away from her iMac. I thought "maybe I can customize the toolbar to add the burn button back" but no dice. The easier the better for her and either having to "right-click on the playlist" or use the pull-down menu is more difficult for her to remember.

Please Apple, can you at least allow us to customize the toolbar to get the Burn button back?

Regarding my last post, I did go to the Apple site to relay my concerns of the missing burn button to Apple/developers...

    http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunesapp.html

For the feedback area, I chose "An Enhancement Request" and then aired my grievances.

I too missed the burn to disc button. However....

Setting up a shortcut was perfect for me as its much faster for me than playing with that darn mouse.

Thanks to Lord Stranger for posting the required info to do this.

If they where really going to do this. They would make sure no one go down grade to an older versions. I will fix this problem for everyone. Don't use itunes 10, and never up grade to it.
This should give Apple a strong message, and if this doesn't work. Go to their competitors products.

Hey folks, I have a client who just wants to burn CD's of stuff she legally downloaded so she can listen to them in her car. Isn't doing this to share with others, just doesn't like using an iPod and likes feeding CD's into her car stereo and listening while driving. She's a bit technically challenged, came to rely upon the button being in the lower right corner of the window. When her husband upgraded her system, iTunes 10 came in with no button, freaked her out! Apple shouldn't assume that folks will understand right clicking or going to a menu to burn, even tho to some of us it seems obvious. I went to the Apple site and complained bitterly on her behalf. Bring the burn button back Apple! Ciao, babies.

Just adding my voice to all the others.  If it weren't for the fact that I couldn't access ITunes Store without upgrading, I wouldn't have.  I was totally content with iTunes the way it was.  The entire download process was one of the longest downloads in my computer history and was frustrating.  Then iTunes wouldn't accept my AOL ID even through the window asked for it.  And now the BURN button is missing!  Isn't bad enough our government squeezes us into submission, we now have to tolerate it from iTunes?  At least iTunes owns its company.  It can do what it wants.  We don't have to use it.  But we own the government, well, at least we used to . . . or did we ever?

Hope iTunes will put back the BURN Button.

I also miss the convenient "Burn to Disc" button, and I'm sure Apple removed it because they're trying to wean us away from physical software, i.e. CDs and DVDs, so they made it more difficult to work with them.  They want us to store everything on "Cloud"--where we'll pay for the satellite storage.  Nope, sorry.  I like physical, tangible, real discs.  I have yet to find anyone who thinks the removal of the "Burn to Disc" button was a great idea, and I've heard from several fellow iTunes friends who think this stinks.

I feel the same way as all the rest of you and have told Apple every which way I could.  Isn't it bad enough our government is beginning to herds us like sheep, we need Apple to do it now?
