Nov 23, 2010 3:15 AM in response to Valtenblastby Chirogue,Similar issue. I can see all jam packs under the loops tab, but only voices and world under the library tab, which means I cant use the software instruments included in the other jam packs. I dont get the file not found error like Valtenblast does. Also tried reindexing and reinstalling. I see this problem discussed by many people but there is no solution. Any expert out there who can help? -
Nov 23, 2010 1:33 PM in response to Chirogueby Alfredo Jahn,Since I just got a brand new mac, I noticed I was getting a weird error message at the end of some of the jam pack installations (off the original DVDs). I also noticed that after installing all 5 packs, 2 showed up in /Library/Application Support/... and 3 got installed in /Library/Audio/... I opened a ticket with Apple technical support and after talking to several first level people, I got connected to Dominic, an iLife expert. He is currently researching the problem. He worked with me for a while and it trying to figure out if the DVDs are corrupted or if it is a problem with Snow Leopard. I did get an error on the first Jam pack install telling me I needed to have Rosetta installed (PPC emulator). I guess at the end of the install it runs a little program that is now Universal Binary. I spoke to him today and I asked him to figure out how to force Logic to read the 3 jam packs it is not seeing. Funny thing, Garageband sees all 5 packs.
I will post if I get any news. May not be until Friday, the Logic expert is our for Thanksgiving.
