I have a laptop, two iphones, and a desktop. We use mobile me to sync them all.

We have 6 active calendars on our ical. For whatever reason, one of the calendars is not displaying on our laptop's ical.

We have sync'd, updated, and repaired permissions. No use. For whatever reason, only 5 of our six calendars are being displayed on our laptop.

The two iphones and desktop remain perfect.

And yes, the calendar in question on ical is "checked" on our ical.

Any help, please?????

Are all those six calendars local calendars, i.e. do they show up / are they supposed to show up in the "On My Mac" section?

For the one calendar not showing up: What is the calendar's name?

we have the same problem. My wife have been reporting this since the 10.6.5 update.

Today she found once strange thing. Even though the calendar is checked and the items not visible. Clicking in a slot where she knows there is a scheduled event for that particular calendar will reveal all "missing" calendar items.

I also tried renaming that calendar on our second Mac. This made the missing calendar appear instantly (Of course with the changed name)

Not sure this is the same problem, but it seems similar to me...

    *=== Possible solution to problem*

... per laptop with missing iCal Calendar and ONE iPhone with the valid calendar desired to be reinstated to the LapTop and subsequently to MobileMe "Cloud" ... ALL other Devices turned OFF

.--- on iPhone ... change settings in Mail, Contacts, Calendars / Accounts ... MobileMe to OFF

.--- on laptop ... change settings in MobileMe to Manual Sync

.--- on laptop ... create a New calendar with a name that is identifiable and input a sample appointment into the current week @ all-day with daily repeat ending in a week or so

.--- on laptop ... tether iPhone and in iTunes under devices DO a backup of iPhone (for Safety-sake)
follow procedure per ... under Devices click on phone symbol and hold control key simultaneously to reveal drop-down menu and click on Backup etc etc

... and proceed with syncing the iPhone which should include an automatic backup
check box for Sync iCal Calendars ... all calendars ... 0 Days
    under Advanced ... NO selection
    at Bottom ... click sync

... _*iPhone calendar(s) probably will be lost and the created New Calendar with sample appointment probably will take it's place*_

    ... Restore iPhone
follow procedure per ... under Devices click on phone symbol and hold control key simultaneously to reveal drop-down menu and click on Restore etc etc

... Repeat Sync (the restored info now having a more recent time-stamp compared to the New identifiable calendar) Should Merge
    verify sync

.--- on laptop ... do a back-up of the reinstated "Merged" iCal calendar (into Documents, perhaps)

.--- on laptop ... proceed with a manual MobileMe sync of the calendars ... and VERIFY

.--- on iPhone ... change settings in Mail, Contacts, Calendars / Accounts ... MobileMe to ON
MacBookPro, Mac OS X (10.5.8), syncing with iPhone 3GS

I have had the same problem and found a workaround, similar to what Hjille wrote.
All of my calendar events (except one) were appearing properly on my office Mac. The one calendar events that wouldn't appear was my most important and utilized calendar across all machines.

I tried everything to get it to appear on my main Mac.... Then I selected the calendar from the list, created a new event, deleted the new event, and suddenly iCal started thinking for a while, then my events appeared.

So.... If you are missing events for an calendar in iCal.
    1) Select the calendar from the list.
    2) Double-click in the calendar to create a new event.
    3) Delete the new event.

Hopefully this will kick iCal into gear like it finally did for me.

    Good luck,
    Matt

Amazing. I was having the same issue and I did as suggested by mabou and it fixed the missing calendar on my iMac.

Me too. Was having the same issue (so was reading this thread), and I added a new event, deleted it, and voila, all the missing events suddenly reappeared. Thanks.

And me. I only have one calendar syncing with my me.com account. So everything disappeared. But creating and deleting a new event brought it all back. Doesn't inspire me with confidence.

But how can I add a public calendar?
I have got the message, that the file on server is not valid. Subscription is not possible.

    Thx,
