Question(s) - Mobile Me vs. Outlook 64bit & Reminders Blocked?

I must be posting in the wrong categories, so I am trying again here since no one seems to be looking at my other posts... hopefully someone here sees it and can help..

Two questions, I did a few searches here and found conflicting information.

I am using an iPhone 4 on 4.2 with newest iTunes. On my main laptop everything is basically fine. I wanted to keep calendar's sync'd on my school laptop as well, however on my school laptop I have Office 64bit installed, and MobileMe won't see Outlook at all, keeps saying Outlook is not my default calendar. Any ideas?

Also on my main computer in Outlook if I save a new appointment to the Calendar with a "Reminder" I get an error every time saying "This Calendar Does Not Support Reminders" regardless the reminders work, but why is this error coming up?

I have been trying to find a solution, but can't find anything yet. Hopefully someone here has a good idea!

Thanks...
