FYI: Windows 7 is stable. stop comparing Apple's shoddy OS updates to MS.

Making reliable OS updates isn't "thinking outside the box". It's just good business.

The administrators of here are Apple employees, they don't answer, but they can read texts.

This happens _very rarely_, usually as a result of someone reporting a post, and specifically calling it to Apple's attention.

If you actually want to communicate with Apple there is a way to do that, see the links below.

My experience is quite the opposite, in our office we have about 50% Mac's and 50% Windows. Our Windows systems are crashing all the time.

Our Macs are virtually problem free.

apple u need to sort this out asap its disgraceful people are late for work, late for meetings etc. The kids are back at school soon how many children are going to be late. something so simple as an alarm which has been on mobile phones since i can remember is causing such a problem.

It's January 3 here in Oz and still not working. Lucky it's a holiday! Maybe Apple meant it will be working from January 3 in the Northern Hemisphere?

If the logic about it having to do with dates from different years being in the same week is correct, failures should be:

    2012: 1
    2013: 1-6
    2014: 1-5
    2015: 1-4
    2016: 1-3
    2017: 1
2018: There should be no failures.

I agree it ***** that some people were met with disaster because the alarm didn't work. For those people, chalk it up as a lesson learned. EVERYONE makes mistakes, including Apple. What you want from a company is for them to fix the mistakes, and Apple has a great record of doing that. When you purchased your IPhone, you purchased a software based device. Software is bound to have bugs in it.

I also rely very heavily on my phone alarms, and I have gotten up late the last two days because of this issue as well. Luckily for me, I didn't have anything major going on. I just wonder that, if you had been using a plug in alarm clock and the power went out, would you be telling the electric company "Shame on you" for letting the power go out? The lesson learned here is to always have a back up.

as long as i have at least one day on repeat my alarm works, but soon as i unselect the repeat the alarm wont work. so you need to have at least one day on repeat it for it to work. my friend was with me and it worked on his phone.

Are you f#$king kidding me Apple? How hard is it to make an alarm clock for a phone. If you guys can't be competent to make an alarm clock app, I'm fairly sure there's hundreds of other 3rd party developers that can.

You know what, that sounds awfully familiar, it kind of reminds me of what my boss told me today when I about got fired because my iPhone alarms never went off.. hmm..

    - Hello everyone! I'm experiencing some if the same problems with my alarm. I set them and they do not sound off. I have an iPhone 4 and everything is up to date. I'm just not sure why this keeps happening.
