If so, make sure that you didn't add a CM within 2 secs of the beginning (iDVD will add a beginning marker for you)
Make sure that CMs are at least 2secs away from a transition.
CMs that break these rules can cause -34506 errors, though not 100% of the time.
And clearing caches (onyx, cache out x, or manually), deletling the idvd plist (preference) file, and repairing disk permissions should also be done. Keep 20GB of free spcae on your startup drive.
