did you ask for a good control surface or a cheap one? If you are used to the quality of your MOTU, you will certainly be not as excited about a budget product.

I know this is a late response, but I have had a lot of success with the BCF2000. There seems to be a lot of fans of this product online and many of them posted step by step tutorials for setting it up for a variety of DAWs.
After reading a couple dozen positive user and professional reviews, it seemed that it was worth the gamble. The BCF2000 is a cheap AND good product. It's been nearly 2 years since I bought it and I don't regret (yet)!!!

Yeah, I can be pretty impatient. I forget that music-related replies on these forums don't come as quickly as I like.
After reading a lot of good reviews, I saw there were none in stock in my area and Amazon reduced the price on the last 2 they had in stock at the time...
It ended up being a great buy :)

Just wondering about configuring the BCF2000 for Logic Express? I've got Logic Express 9. We just got the BCF2000 from Kijiji and are having some trouble getting it to function completely as a control surface. Logic Express can see the device, and I'm able to get "play" and "stop" to work on the BCF2000 so it will play a multitrack recording that we made. But we need to be able to use it to edit the tracks. I'm not able to get the faders to actually work to make changes to the tracks or control the outputs.
Do you have any tips?

I actually found a YouTube video series that helped me. It's for Logic 9 (I have Logic 7), but I was still able to use the information. Since you have Logic 9, then it should definitely have some answers for you.
I hope that helps. Let me know know how it goes.

Thanks, Da Funky Jrum.
I did go through the first one of these, but my BCF2000 wasn't working the way it was supposed to like the video showed. Maybe there's a problem with the BCF2000 itself.
Waiting for some feedback from the person we got it from; hopefully they have some hints...
