Can you lock together several tracks and move them along the time line together? Kind of like in photoshop where you can lock several layers together and move them about the image in unison.

Basically, what I want to be able to do is add something to the beginning or middle of a project and have everything after it adjust or shift back. I don't want to have to manually move every track forward or back.

not like that, no, but you could Select All, and while they're all selected, they'll all move in unison

I don't know if it is what you need, but you can use the arrange track which enables you to create markers according to the different parts of your song (chorus, verse, intro etc...) and after you can change the order of the markers so that every sequences belonging to the zone markers move with it.

I guess by creating a marker corresponding to a blank part, you can insert a blank part everywhere you need it.

    Hoping that it is clear.
