Q: URL bar

Help! My URL bar is missing. There is just a grey area where it should be, right above the toolbar. Anyone know how to get it back? I've already got the latest software.

White unibody Macbook, Mac OS X (10.6.6)

OK, then under View choose "Customize Toolbar" and drag the URL component (the one that says "go to this address") back into the toolbar.

URL bar in what application? Safari? If so, go to the View menu and select "Show Toolbar". That should do the trick.

If you are referring to another application, pleas let us know what application it is so we can advise further.

It is in Safari yes. I cannot type in a web address because the place you type it in is missing. I tried "show Toolbar" in View and It brings up everything else but the web address box.
