Nov 27, 2010 12:31 AM in response to Moggy83by Moomintroll,Hi there,
Everyone if you are concerned about having to pay, I offer you my assistance.
Print out this hole topic with every message, show it to a genius at the Apple Store.
They will have no option but to exchange.

Nov 27, 2010 1:11 AM in response to Moggy83by Dan Mitchell1,For UK returns they take your credit card number and send the replacement plus a package in which to return the faulty item. If you do not return the faulty item within 10 days, they charge you for the replacement.
In my case it all worked beautifully, and I even got a reminder to return the faulty Nano quickly to avoid the charge. -
Nov 29, 2010 3:54 PM in response to Moomintrollby iPod Whisperer,Instead of printing out forum posts - why not just contact them and tell them what is up? I don't see any Apple support person not replacing your Nano if it has this issue.

Dec 15, 2010 4:24 AM in response to Moomintrollby patches64,My iPod Nano 6th Gen did the same to me last weekend. Lasted me just over one month.
Took mine back to ASDA where I bought it from for a refund, then went and bought myself a Sony Walkman. No problems so far -

May 15, 2011 5:30 AM in response to darkrock18by sgurr,This has just happened to me within the last hour. Was busy planning some GCSE listening work (I'm a teacher) and went to refresh the screen to change the track, and the button is locked, can't move it. I rang my local retail store who said to restore the settings which should fix it. Well of course, it hasn't. So they said bring it in, which will be at the end of the week now. I shall wait with interest to see what they do, and will certainly show them these pages of comments!
