Q: AKE BC168 and PDQ G3

hello there, i have a usb card that i bought to use with this powerbook for usb stuff since it doesn't have usb. this card works with mac os x but i am having trouble with mac os 9. i've tried turning off all of the power saving features. i do have the usb card support extensions installed, so thats out of the picture. can someone help me?

    Hi,

    A good guess would be that this card (which appears to be USB 2.0) is not supported by Mac OS 9. The fact that a card is working fine directly under (at least certain versions of) Mac OS X does not automatically mean that the same is true under Mac OS 9. If so, one would have to look for separate drivers for the chipset, compatible with Mac OS 9 (probably difficult or impossible to find). Someone else here may be able to provide you with better information.
