I have just migrated files and Apple programmes, e.g. iWork, from my G5 iMAC.  In the process I trashed an out-of-date Norton Anti Virus software - at least I thought I had.Now error messages when I log on indicate it is still lurking somewhere.Help pse..

As indicated in the question/topic line, every time I log on (to both the new and the old MACs, I get a Norton error message.  On the new iMAC I get a cascaded error message telling me that Norton Anti Virus Auto Protect could not continue.  Please run........  At the same time on the older MAC I get a single error message.  I thought I'd trashed the programme (because it was out of date), but clearly it is lurking somewhere.  Can anyone suggest a way I can eliminate these annoying messages please.

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.7), iMAC 21.5", IC i5
