Q: Waveburner newbe question
After finishing 11 songs in Waveburner, I'm ready to export them. I know that I can burn a CD of the material but what I really need to do is set up the material to be exported over the internet as a complete file. Right now, the songs are in AIFF. Do they have to be converted to mp3 in order to do this? What is the best method of exporting songs from Waveburner to the internet? Thanks!

Hi,
Actually you don't say for what you need it,
if the destination is for net streaming, yes, is advisable that you convert them to mp3 for example.
You can do this in iTunes (or in Logic) (remember there are several compression levels that do affect the sound).
If you want to send it to someone (not to stream) and if the quality is important, you'd better keep the audio in AIFF, create a folder to your file and compress it (zip) with the mouse right click, and send the zip file, in case it's too long to send via e-mail, you can upload it.
Hope this helps you,
Jorge
