I'm not sure there is such a thing on Mac OSX, it think only Windows uses HD defrag.
if your macbook is getting slow , have you thought about doing the following?
Repair permission
zap the Pram
make sure you have enough free space on your HD (at least 2- 3Gb)

less than 20 MB of file size
file should not be already busy
should not be read-only
fragmented files can slow down your applications and longer startup launch
You can try yourself to fasten your Mac by using simple and easy methods like
Cleanup the unwanted data and files
Uninstall the aaplications which you do not wish to keep on your Mac
Clear the startup items
Keep atleast 20% free space for boot Macintosh HD
Repair Disk permissions
Cleanup the unused destop items and trash bin
Or you can use - Stellar Defrag Drive, iDefrag
