Running Software Update is probably a good place to start.
After you installed, did you run Disk Utility to repair permissions on the system drive?

May 2, 2011 3:09 AM in response to shahby Andy Mees,Delete your FCP preferences (not the app, just the prefs). Get "Preference Manager" from Digital Rebellion, it's an excellent and free app that makes doing this easy. Don't post back till you've done this.
