    The pwer adapter will become very warm when charging while using the computer. It will cool down considerably when the battery becomes fully charged. It happens to me as well.

    Im having same problem.  I would not call it very warm this thing is excessivly HOT cant hold it in my hand.

    only happens when battery is discharged and running the computer.

     

    Macbookpro 17" 6.1  2.8i7

    You will notice it becomes hot while charging the battery and using the computer at the same time. But you will notice it will cool down once the battery is charged.

    The more power the adapter is called upon to deliver, the hotter it gets. When pushed to its limits, as it can be when the battery is discharged and you're doing something graphically and computationally demanding with the computer, the adapter block gets very hot indeed.
