Please could somebody walk me through this step by step as I am pulling my hair out ...

I have a Netgear DG834 router which is connected to my broadband connection and is feeding my Macs. I have bought an iPad2 and have been trying to connect my Airport Extreme to the Netgear in order to use WiFi. I want to leave the Netgear connected as it is because it is fast and very reliable, the Airport Extreme will be solely for iPad2 and iPhone.

I have plugged the Airport Extreme into one of the outputs from the Netgear but all I am getting is a flashing amber light. Having reset it about 20 times this afternoon I need somebody to walk me through the entire process. It keeps telling me that I don't have a WiFi connection and to be honest I have absolutely no idea how to set one up.

All help greatfully appreciated!
