May 18, 2011 2:59 PM in response to kenndixonby ToddNashville,File>Export>Quicktime Movie. Make sure that "Make movie self contained" is checked. Use this file as your full resolution "master". Import that into compressor and convert to...whatever you're wanting to convert to.

May 18, 2011 3:42 PM in response to kenndixonby Nick Holmes,Read the thread and am still no wiser about what it is that you want to achieve.
You have told us exactly nothing. Describe your workflow in detail. Include everything.
Or send me the money to attend a seminar on intercontinental mind reading.

May 18, 2011 3:49 PM in response to Nick Holmesby kenndixon,HAHAHA... I have edited a project in FCP. Rendered and everything else...color correction, etc. I went to export using the share function under File>Share. Made my selection of YOUTUBE AND iPad. Hit Export and nothing happens. I have used it many times before but not it is not working. The only new thing that i have add was LiveType from FCP 6.

May 18, 2011 3:55 PM in response to kenndixonby Jim Cookman,Well I may be an old grump, but anything that's called "share" is a button I'll never push. Just too darn touchy feely for me. Do as suggested above, export a QT movie, self contained and take that to compressor. you can set up a batch and crank out any number of file types all at once.

May 18, 2011 4:07 PM in response to Jim Cookmanby kenndixon,I have tried to do that and the submit opinion is not available. I have tried and it is not working.

May 18, 2011 4:13 PM in response to kenndixonby Jim Cookman,It seems you're not understanding-- or I'm not. Export the QT movie. Hide FCP. Open compressor and drag the file into the window. Select a compression and a destination for the file(s) you will make. Are you saying the submit button is grayed out?

May 18, 2011 4:39 PM in response to kenndixonby Tom Wolsky,Can't tell with the submit covering up everything, but from what I can see I'm wondering if you've loaded the YouTube account information.
Also wondering where the original file is located.

May 18, 2011 4:45 PM in response to Jim Cookmanby soundman1024,What Jim said..you have to submit it to a Cluster..be it "This Computer" or a virtual cluster you create on your computer, or a render farm. Probably not the later.
