I too am having login issues. I had to create a new username and pw to login and ask for help. I have sent that useless form 5 or 6 times and have not heard anything from anybody! Matt, if you or someone could contact me i will send you the appleid. Thank you very much

Me too. I have had to create a new username. Couldn't log in under my @ username or another one I have - on Safari or Firefox. Lost all my history.. shame

I've got the same problem, unable to log onto Apple Support Communities with MM email I've been using for years. Multiple posting in the error mesages have resulted in no replies from Apple.

Another "Me too" I'm afraid! Exactly the same as reported by most others here: whenever I try to sign in with my long-standing Apple ID I get that darned 'Back soon...' page.
This is posted after having to set up a new account. I'd like to remove that as soon as you/Apple can fix whatever's wrong with my normal one, which works fine for everything except getting signed into Support/Discussions.
I'm hoping that by now there's a common cause (or maybe a few variations) and that you can fix it once you have my Apple ID. Can you therefore email me via this account ID please?

Me too! I'm so frustrated that I can't log into my account that I've been using for 11 years! Every time I try, I get an error message that my account could not be created. I had to create a new account to be able to post this message. I've sent 2 support requests to Apple and so far haven't heard back. Boo.

I mailed Matt K form Apple support who mailed me in the first place re this.
Still nothing has been sorted !

Matt has sorted it and now I have my old old name back... and shows my original member date.
I never did say a lot so never got the points built up like some...
Now let's hope I can merge the two accounts I have been using.

I have the same issue that Caroline had, and sent in 3-4 emails to the page that explained the issue.
Is there some way I can get my account fixed as well?

During the past couple of weeks, I have been patient thinking that Apple would solve the problem. No such luck! Thus, I just created this "SactoBob2" ID using a different email address solely for the purpose of posting.
I note that someone named Matt is helping users to resolve this problem. So, Matt, please help me. Thanks in advance.

I'd been having the very same, login issue since this new, Forum format was started.
However, today (date of this post), when I attempted logging in using my "normal" ID, the login completed without issue. (No intervention by Apple staff needed. I never created at secondary Login.)
So, maybe, whatever issue was causing this login hang-up, has now been resolved.
...Let's hope that's the case.

I've had the same problem. I changed my primary email address and can now get in but that means I've had to start over in the forums.
