Hi all.

I have recently purchased a Hp Photosmart B110a all-in-one and am trying to get the scanning function to work from the all-in-one to my MacBook.
I can access the scanning function from my MacBook and have it initiate the scan that way however I was wondering if it would be possible for me to initiate the scan from the all-in-one using the scan options under 'Scan to Computer' on the all-in-one?
One of the options is to send the scanned document to e-mail however im struggling to get the all-in-one to link up with the MacBook.

Can anyone help?

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

can anyone help with this situation?

I now have snow leopard installed on my Macbook and still cannot use the 'scan to PC' function on the HP B110a all-in-one printer.

I see its now available through the Apple Store so would assume that all the functions can be utilised.

The printer will currently wirelessly print and the scan function can be used however this needs to be ordered from the Macbook rather then from the printer.

If anyone has any suggestions that would be grand.

I manage somehow to get the printer working as it should. Scanning worked after being initiated from the printer as well as the Macbook, and printing works fine being initiated from the Macbook, from my iPhone through iPrint and also by using the ePrint function.

However suddenly after not using the printer for about a week (it was not shutdown fully during this time, simply left on standby) the printer has lost its connection to the Macbook and will only scan if being initiated from the Macbook.

Is their anything I can do, any settings I can look into in order to get this to work reliably?
