I just got a 3rd Gen Time Capsule. I want to set up the private and guest networks. The only available options for the primary network in Radio Mode are automatic, 802.11a/n - 802.11b/g, and 802.11a - 802.11g. As I understand it there should be more options like the ability to create an 802.11n 5GHz only network. Ideas as to why it is not showing. I have tried resetting the TC.

Thanks for any insight

    You might try the following:

Open AirPort Utility - Click Manual Setup

Click the Wireless tab below the icons

Hold down the option key on your Mac while you click on the Radio Mode selection box

You'lll see 14 different combinations. The 5 GHz signal is on the left of the - (dash) and the 2.4 GHz choices are on the right. Choose the combo that is right for your needs and click Update to save your choice.

The Guest Network will track the Radio Mode of the main network.  BTW, its a good idea to only enable the Guest Network when you have "guests" because the bandwidth is split between the main network and guest network when you run both.
