I am a professional photographer. I use Aperture 3, OSX 10.6.7 on an iMac. I have a 1TB hard drive and Aperture is using 790GB of my hard drive space.

Once I am finished with a project, I export the entire project onto my 4TB external Hard drive and delete it from Aperture. Then I empty Aperture Trash, and I empty iMac trash. It helps a little, but currently I only have 14 Aperture projects in my library and they total 790GB. My Vault is located on a partition on my 4TB external.

Simply put, Aperture needs to take up less room on my computer. Please help!
