Jul 21, 2011 12:11 PM in response to angryiphoneuserby angryiphoneuser,Okay - if I access webmail by http://<server IPaddress>/webmail all works okay
However if I usee http://www.<virtualhostname>/webmail I get the login screen but when I enter password and username I get the cannot connect to IMAP server error
I have added the VirtualHostName script to a new Apache conf file so my virtual hosts work (kind of) but no success with mail. This worked on 10.6.7
Any ideas fellow Lion Server pioneers?

Sep 15, 2011 1:29 PM in response to angryiphoneuserby Mac-Fan_,Exact the same issue here ! (Upgrade from SnowLeo server to Lion server - 10.7.1)
From LAN (internal) to server ok, from Internet to server - after typing in credentials and try to login - IMAP server error...
TCP/143 from internet and from the LAN to the server is open as my users use IMAP to get their E-Mails.
Any news/fix/tip on this from someone ?
Many thanks
Daniel

Nov 16, 2011 5:53 AM in response to angryiphoneuserby frank124,Have a look in
/usr/share/webmail/config/appleoverrides.inc.php,
should point to your local servername instead of $h
the original $h will be replaced by your external fqdn which is not enabled in mail.
$rcmail_config['default_host'] = 'tls://macserver.examle.com';
