More an observational impatient complaint. maybe you have news of when we can see a real update? I know it probably won't fix any of the issues I'm having but it would be good to know that some minor issues were being addessed. I still feel I bought a beta OS due to Mission Control's fullscreen apps having a lack of multi monitor use and how various hardware seems to be malfunctioning, namely the battery and encoded digital optical sound output.

Only Apple knows. It will happen when it happens.

Oh good. Haven't seen a conspiracy theory around here for almost ten minutes...

There is also an issue with video being totally non-functional

    on Mac Mini 2010's.

Actually, in my opinion, every day Apple waits to address these

issues, it decreases their credibility to release quality products.

Maybe you should try to fix your Mac since if that were a real problem with Lion causing a video problem I am positive Apple would be on it. I think you Mac has the problem and not Lion.

P.R. scheme? They don't want to give ammo to anyone who may think an update so soon after release would show how faulty some of the system is?

    Just a conspiracy theory.

In general that is just not true at all. Apple has not been at the top of almost every customer survey report for so many years, for no reason at all. They want your system to work and for you to be happy.

But, I also know that over the years Apple is not shy about releasing products early in what some would call Beta, and fix the problems along the way with the help and patient of their loyal customers.

Most of us find it aggevating and fun all at the same time.
