    Ssenn-

It may be that you are trying to print material that iPrint can't handle.  I have been able to print photos and PDF documents, but other formats I tried were incompatable.

    SSenn-

I was able to print PDF documents using HP iPrint, but only those I transferred to the iPad from iTunes.

In iTunes, select the iPad under DEVICES.  Choose the Apps menu and scroll down to File Sharing.  Select HP iPrint and drag documents into the HP iPrint Documents window.  After syncing with the iPad, these documents show up under Saved Files in HP iPrint.

Being able to do this may be useless, unless you have no way to print from your computer!

    SSenn-

Your alternatives include sharing your computer's printer as AirPrint over WiFi, and another iPad printing App.

For a free solution for sharing your computer's printer, search the web for AirPrint Activator.

My favorite iPad printing App is Print n Share.  It is not free, but certainly cheaper than a new printer!
