is it possible for me to have the whole green screen thing with imovies, or anything that can allow me to change the background? I have tried photobooth, but the quality isn't very good, and you get the problems with pixelation and stuff. I mean the kind of effects where you could have someone running in a room, but when you finished, it looks like they are running down the street or something? is it possible to do if i am just using imovies?

You can do the Green Screen effects, but you will want to make sure you have the video shot against a green or blue background to get it to combine properly. Also you will want to turn on the Advanced Tools by going to iMovie Menu>Preferences>General Tab>Check the box listed as Show Advanced Tools

When you drag your video clips shot against the Green Screen over top of a video already on the Project timeline, you'll get a pop-up menu. On that menu will be the option for choosing Green Screen.
