Q: Converting an internal hard drive to an external one?
Hello
I have an old powerbook g4 with 100 gb hard drive and I am putting it out of commision. I would like to use the hard drive as an external usb powered hard drive if that is possible. If it can't be usb powered that will be fine too.
Does anyone know:
1. How to do this?
2. What I will need to buy?
3. Where would the best place be to buy the things that I need to get?

Put the drive into a USB 2.0 external enclosure designed for 2.5" ATA/IDE drives (not SATA drives). Here's one that's dirt cheap:
