Maybe some clarification on this one. The size of my burn brush will go to 1000. Not sure if the unit of measure is pixels as there is no indicator, but on a 18.2 MP (3482x5223 pixels) image, the brush covers about a sixth of the image when it is set to 1000. Six clicks and I would add a burn to the whole image...
Also When you say it's useless, you mean you have to brush way too much in order to get the coverage you want?

BTW I found this posst through the More Like This box on the right hand side of the page. There is a lot that this new software messed up but one of the few good things to come out of it is that box. Usually one or two of the links will be useful.

Well, it's useless if the brush size cannot be increased from 200px. That being said, even 1000 is small for a 24mp image.
If I'm using a 200px brush, then I end up overlapping strokes to cover an area that is larger than 200px square. Then I get streaks and irregular coverage - that makes it useless.
If I uncheck Detect Edges, then my max brush size is still 200. How are you getting 1000? EDIT: I was just able to make it 1000 - thanks for the tip!
