All those tricks haven't worked for me either.

Still a blank store screen and my phone won't backup either. Frustrating.

On my PC I had a problem where the iTunes store would only display a blank white page, I managed to display my account settings, but nothing for music, etc

I treid this and it has immediately sorted it out...

start>programs>accessories> right click on Command Prompt and run as Administrator

then simply enter 'netsh winsock reset' and return

after restarting the PC and loading up iTunes the store was there fine  ;-)

    How AWESOME is this..!!!!!!

    Yes it WORKED..!!!!!!

Now Flipper_71....tell me what that really does?

Is that like a rest on the Windows communication sockets or something like that? I'm a Unix geek and am familiar with network sockets and various ports.

I saw this fix on another thread and googled it first to ensure I wasn't going to do something stupid, it said that it was resetting the nutshell utility and could help fix certain connectivity problems

well it certainly did for me and having seen the number of people complaining about this problem, pasted the fix in a number of threads

Just glad that it's helping others and hopefully Apple can see that there must be something in their software that is corrupting this utility when using iTunes

It worked for me too, Thank You, I have 6 email replies from the so called Apple Tech. Support telling me the issue is my fault. Every time I would reply to one a different person would reply back telling me it was my error and Itunes is in 'fine working order'. Then one would ask for the ITunes Diagonstic Report and a new person would reply back after I sent it, to tell me to start all over from step one, not even taking the time to review his or her co-workers preivous replies.

I love you Flipper_71!!!!  After spending the better part of this week trying to fix this, uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes, changing host files, proxy settings, DNS flushing, neglecting my work, etc., I finally came upon this - and it worked!!  Thank you so much!

Unfortunately I tried Flipper_71's fix, but without success.  I still only have a blank window that says iTunes Store.  Any other suggestions?

It worked for me! I've also had trouble with Safari, uninstalled it several times and nothing loaded. Now it works beautifully, both iTunes Store and Safari. **** Apple, they should've fixed this. Thanks a bunch. Any other helpful commands I could type in that box and something could magically be fixed?

Thank you Thank you Flipper_71  It works now!  Pass along the word to Apple Tech that they need to stop following company policy of blaming others for their problems.

The netsh command worked for me. Officially, Apple support told me to uninstall/reinstall iTunes. I had not done that yet. I figured I would try flipper_71's trick and it worked.

    Thanks!
