Great!  Nice to know I'm not the only one.

Click the App Store, and it's a blank page.  All the other stores work fine.

If you click on some of the "Feature" pages - App Store Essentials, Great Free Apps... those pages come up fine.

Any other category page - blank screen.

    Search works.

I tried the "Reset Warnings" and "Reset Cache", logged out/in to iTunes... none of that worked.

I have had exactly the same problem for the last two days on PC Windows 7.  Ironically, everything fine on Macbook pro - apps store loads without a problem

Same deal here. Windows XP, everything up to date. No App Store for two days. Curiously, in the pull down menu, I do get to see:

    Great Free Apps

    App Store Essentials

    Game Centre

    iPad Apps Starter Kit

    iPad Hall of Fame

But none of the categories below it. PLEASE SOLVE THIS APPLE.

    UPDATE:

No luck after completely uninstalling iTunes/QTime 7.7. I read in a related post that they believe it's a Quick Time problem, so I hunted down an older copy of it (v7.69) on Oldapps.com. Used Revo Uninstaller to get rid of all the registry entries, etc. Reinstalled it clean. No luck.

Given that I (and apparently, all of us) can see the iTunes Store proper, but not the App Store specifically, perhaps it really is not a QT or Java problem -- but an Apple-wide glitch of some kind.

    PLEASE FIX THIS APPLE.

GOT IT TO WORK. I used the instructions from this post.

    https://discussions.apple.com/message/15849895#15849895

    Solution:

"Use the Control Panel to uninstall iTunes and related software components in the following order. Then, restart your computer.

    1. iTunes
    2. QuickTime
    3. Apple Software Update
    4. Apple Mobile Device Support
    5. Bonjour
    6. Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later)
    7. Safari"

I didn't backup anything, nor did I de-authorise and sign out. Please consider backing up your files, though, just in case.

Here is the MOST IMPORTANT STEP. Do not install either Safari or the newer version of Quick Time. I have never installed Safari, so that's a moot point for me.

Install the older version FIRST, after having done all the steps above and rebooting your system.

Please note that it has a security flaw, which obviously was fixed in the 7.7 update, but if you are desperate to see your Purchased items, and App Store again, this is the only way to do so, that I've found until Apple comes out with a fix.

    Then go to:

    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

Download the latest iTunes (10.4) which also comes with QT 7.7. But since you have the older version, it will not update it. NOTE: When installing iTunes, make sure you uncheck all the "Update automatically" options.

I rebooted my computer just in case, launched iTunes with my heart in my mouth, and there it was. The App Store! And my "Purchased" items in the iCloud.

    YAY! Good luck, everyone.

Thank you JVXB!  I've been fighting this for two days, and your solution worked for me!  Make sure to follow the instructions completely.  I tried deinstalling iTunes, Quicktime, and Safari, but had the same results.  After following JVXB's instructions exactly, my problem is cleared.

So this is a little ridiculous.  This quicktime update kills itunes app store.  Is there same way to fix this rather than installing/uninstalling everything?  how about a fix from apple?
