Add me to this problem list too. Ran Software Update, to see if that would help find a resolution to the annoying and iMac molassing error:
kernel: IOSurface: buffer allocation size is zero
(also said to be due to an Adobe Flash bug)... but a software update attempt leads to:
com.apple.SecurityServer: Failed to authorize right 'system.install.app-store-software' by client '/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/PackageKit.framework/Versions/A/Resources/in stalld' [#####] for authorization created by '/System/Library/CoreServices/Software Update.app' [#####]

Ditto. It is now May 4 and this post went up in August. No word from Apple. Nine months. Eager to avoid wiping my drive and starting over from scratch.
Yes this thread has been idle since last September, which hints that future upgrades fixed the OP's problems. 4 people having a problem does not constitute a system wide problem. Apple do not respond here either, it is a user to user forum.
Is your computer up to date? 10.7.3
Have you tried any maintenance measures such as repair permissions, verify disc?
Have you read other threads which may be somewhat similar? It may well pay to start a new thread giving all details of your computer and the exact nature of your problem.
