New Lion Server, Windows XP client, maps drive to shared folder okay with Lion creds, copied 6GB+ files to Lion share. Can open/read/write simple files (jpegs, text), can't open Word or Excel documents. Get message saying:

Word cannot open the document: user does not have access privileges

(P:\...\New Microsoft Word Document.doc)

or

"New Microsoft Excel Worksheet.xls" cannot be access. The file may be read-only, or you may be trying to access a read-only location. Or, the server the document is stored on may not be responding.

My XP client opens/reads/writes all files just fine on a Time Capsule share, but I want them on the Lion Server first so Time Capsule can do the incrementals.

I have searched and found several threads that are close but not spot-on. Is this a Lion bug or feature?

Thanks
