Sep 7, 2011 10:44 AM in response to levindenboer1975by levindenboer1975,IT IS UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! It went well for 4 day's, and today!!!! AGAIN...
It seems that when we make a new project true Aperture on our Extended HD disk the permissions are ?????
We just did an ls -la /Volumes/namedisk/foldername
and we see this:
drwxrwxr-x+ 21 levindenboer staff 714 3 sep 20:32 20110901 PROJECTNAME APERTURE
drwxrwxr-x+ 7 levindenboer staff 238 3 sep 20:32 20110901 PROJECTNAME APERTURE
drwxrwxr-x+ 470 levindenboer staff 15980 1 sep 14:27 20110901 PROJECTNAME APERTURE
drwxrwxr-x+ 165 levindenboer staff 5610 5 sep 12:59 20110902 PROJECTNAME APERTURE

drwxr-xr-x 9 levindenboer staff 306 3 sep 20:32 20110903 PROJECTNAME APERTURE
drwxr-xr-x 4 levindenboer staff 136 3 sep 20:32 20110903 PROJECTNAME APERTURE

drwxr-xr-x 349 levindenboer staff 11866 6 sep 19:45 20110906 PROJECTNAME APERTURE
drwxr-xr-x 49 levindenboer staff 1666 6 sep 19:41 20110906 PROJECTNAME APERTURE
drwxr-xr-x 330 levindenboer staff 11220 7 sep 17:52 20110907 PROJECTNAME APERTURE
drwxr-xr-x 159 levindenboer staff 5406 7 sep 17:58 20110907 PROJECTNAME APERTURE
drwxr-xr-x 15 levindenboer staff 510 7 sep 17:55 20110907 PROJECTNAME APERTURE
Do you see the same thing as i see??? The new projects we have made the last day's has an + sign at the end of the permission settings? What is that??
The projects with the + sign there is no problem with, we can delete images true Aperture directly to our Trash.
But the ones without the + sign won't work???
So what is the + sign???

Sep 18, 2011 10:49 AM in response to levindenboer1975by levindenboer1975,Hello every body.
We have an solution to delete the master images true Aperture. This solutino came directly from the developpers of Promise Technology Inc. Thank's to Michele.
This is what you have to do, it work's fine by us, so let's give it an try.
Workaround:
After starting or mounting the Pegasus disk, simply copy a random file to the drive (using the OSX Finder) and delete this file (again using the Finder). This looks to create a Trash folder which can then be accessed by Aperture.
After a restart or eject of the Pegasus disk, you will need to do this again, otherwise you will not be able to delete referenced files in Aperture again.
That easy!

Sep 18, 2011 7:32 PM in response to levindenboer1975by Frank Caggiano,Glad you got a respolution for this. Still seems strange that creating the .Trash folder and chmoding it didn't work. Could you post the directory permissions on the .Trash file after you have done this procedure and have Aperture able to access the .Trash folder? I'd be interested to see what permissions the Peguaus disk is setting.
thanks

Aug 21, 2014 3:53 PM in response to levindenboer1975by .TT.,Hi,
A easy workaround is to map the NAS, with the protocol SMB instead of AFP, and you will be able to delete your referenced files.
