Im starting to think this little computer may have the same problem as the 2007-08 17inch macbook pros did. on lion, my dock tears and there are artifacts while minimizing things and other animations. i dont think its lion because one of my games on my boot camp partition does a similar thing. but mine isnt as bad as yall's.....

Sep 7, 2011 6:13 AM in response to ricardofromzoetermeerby Korsriddaren,Have you tried downgrading to Snow Leopard, to see if the problem persists? If not, It's most likely not a hardware problem, but related to your OS. Give it a shot and come back and post the results afterwords.

Sep 7, 2011 7:46 AM in response to Korsriddarenby ricardofromzoetermeer,Hm, Just installed a clean Snow Leopard on a new partition to test, and it's all working flawless... Seems the problem really lies with Lion. So, I could reinstall (with the discs) SL over Lion without losing all of my files and applications?

Sep 7, 2011 2:38 PM in response to ricardofromzoetermeerby Korsriddaren,I would suggest you to make a full Time machine back-up first, and afterwords try to restore your new SL installation från that. If that works, you know how to proceed. Good luck!

Nov 18, 2011 12:51 PM in response to makukeroby mdarse,I have the exactly same problem on my MacBook Pro 2010 13" with Lion 10.7.1 & 10.7.2... Such glitches appears only on Safari & Google Chrome (or it's only where I found them).

Nov 21, 2011 12:22 PM in response to ricardofromzoetermeerby StevenLu,I have the same problems like in the 2nd post. I also get them, when i use Eclipse oder iTunes. So it doesn't depends on the application you use in the moment.
I think it is a OS problem. My temperatures are at a normal level when the artifacts appear. I hope 10.7.3. will fix it. The issues also disappears when i refresh the website for example.
I look forward to a fix. It didn't happend when i used Snow Leopard...

Nov 21, 2011 1:33 PM in response to StevenLuby mdarse,I have also a Snow Leopard install on my MacBook, and no problem with that, for me it's clearly a software problem.
