On the EXE ones...
Get rid of all the...
Adobe whatever App>Samples>Droplets>whatever App>Droplets folders or EXEs in them.
To cure the duplicates...
Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions...
Reset Launch Services...

Reboot.
