Viber is not working on my company network. We are using Cyberroam to handle the internet traffic in the company and there are certain ports and services blocked. I tried opening following ports but still did not help. Can someone help me in this case.

TCP: 5242 + 4244

UDP: 5243 + 9785

Thanks,

Tariq

    What country are you in?

If you do not manage the network for your company, then you need to contact your IT department. Otherwise you need to contact Cyberroam if you are having problems with firewall settings. That is if you are not in a country where Viber service is blocked.

You need to work with Ciberroam and Viber as the problem seems to lie not with your Apple product but in connecting to the service past your firewall.

Only thing I can offer is that the mentioned ports need to be open as Incomming as well as outgoing.

I'm from Karachi, Pakistan. Viber was working perfectly on my iphone4 using wifi and then suddenly it says "could not connect to viber. Please check your connection and try again." and since then its giving the same error eventhough I am connected to wifi and internet is working all fine. I also un-installed and re-installed it but still its giving the same error. PLEASE HELP!
