Yes there are quite a few similar reports at the moment, I haven't experienced the problem, yet others in the UK have, so we're not quite sure what criteria determines whether you are affected by this. I haven't seen any solutions so far, so it may just be a case of waiting to see if it's repaired or whether the rest of us are going to see the same thing.

I'll give it a week or two and see how it goes.
No big deal buy on the iMac and then syncing to AppleTV.
But I do like to browse from the couch

Same thing has happened to me using the Second Gen AppleTV. Doing a complete factory restore did not help. I can not access the store under TV Shows. The only option is "My TV Shows" I can still buy movies and music, just not TV shows.

Yeah - am having same problem here with Apple TV 2nd Gen.
Got UK iTunes Store for music and movies but not for TV shows. Have emailed support for advice...

Just to update this topic - the TV Show section of AppleTV is working fine now.
It just reappeared by itself without me doing anything.

Hi all. If yours isn't back yet, try changing the location to a different country like the uk then back to your country. It's worked for myself and a few others and is way easier than doing the whole factory reset thing.
