Just want to pass on my best wishes to the Apple family. Steve Jobs made my life and the life of others immeasurably better. A true visionary. We won't see his like in our lifetime.

Just one more thing...

Intel iMac, Power Mac G5, G4 ibook, Mac OS X (10.4.4)

I'm feeling a little empty inside.  The same way I felt when John Lennon died.

I think Steve Jobs probably had a greater impact on my life than anyone else in the world - outside my family.

That is probably true for anyone who uses technology today, whether they realize it or not... whether they use Apple products or not.

He made the world a better, and certainly more interesting place to live in.

Just wanted to state that I feel so sad right now. Steve was a genius. Apple will miss him!

So sad! I have used apple computers since the dark days of 1995. I cannot imagine my life w/o an apple computer (& iPhone). He enriched the lives of so many!

Ironically, my iMac may have died today as well ... Or at least need major work to rescuisitate it. Short of that, I'll buy another iMac without a second thought. That's the type of product and company Steve created, and I have full confidence that Tim Cook and the other staffers will carry on most capably.

Steve and Apple made being part of the future possible for me. I wish his family the best.

I am sure that his team at Apple will continue to make him proud.

    Rest is peace, Mr. Jobs.

The Mac started my graphic design career in 1987 and Apple products have been a part of my life ever since.  Thank you Steve, and being only 4 years younger then you, you left us way to soon.  Your brilliance will be missed.  Men of your vision come only once in a few lifetimes.  My heart goes out to your family.

What a sad day, although we knew his time with us was short it just doesn't lessen the shock. My thoughts are with Steve, his family and the millions of people he has touched one way or another.

My brother passed last year with pancreatic cancer. I can feel their pain and I am sure Steve is in no pain now.

Wow, I am blown away. Sad.

This really make me take each day as a gift, and no amount of money can take that away.

There are only a few men in the 20th and 21st century that have had the impact of Steve Jobs.  Only two come to mind, Thomas Edison and Henry Ford.  There are only a few famous people that I would have enjoyed meeting and Steve Jobs was one of them.  In the early days of Apple, Steve approached John Sculley, an executive of PesiCo, to work for Apple.  He asked Mr. Sculley "do you want to spend the rest of your life selling suguared water, or do you want to change the world?"  I think it is safe to say that Steve Jobs changed the world.  Oh there is just one more thing.  Steve, you will be missed.  May you rest in peace.

In 1980 I bought my first computer - an Apple II Plus.

I'm writing this today on a iMac but I could have just as easily written this on my iPod Touch.

    Thank you Steve.
