The terms make it sound like the association of devices to accounts is specifically for the auto-download feature. I am assuming that if you continue to sync to iTunes with a USB cable, content from multiple iTunes stores (countries) will continue to sync as before. But I don't know this for sure. Can anyone else comment?

I am pretty sure that this is to force users to buy again your apps using only one account, it is more revenue for Apple, every change now from Apple is oriented only to Revenue, no real support to end users, buying new hardware instead of developing patches to fix real user problems, techincians from Apple are not qualified anymore, they are only sales persons, that is normal with all of us buying all apple products and Apple opening new stores without the correct people with the right skills.
I have the same problem, I have only 2 accounts in itunes store, one in MExico and another one in USA, I have that because some appls or music were not available in MExico Store, but with these terms and conditions I will take care of it in the future and will consider Android Platform, which is more open and many things are available free, or much cheaper than Appstore

I had forgotten about this thread, but thanks to your anti-Apple screed, I went back and verified that there is no problem at all switching back and forth between accounts in two different stores. Either you're making things up, or you bought your apps again for no reason. In any case, the new T&C turned out not to have any adverse effects on people who have apps on multiple stores, so the question is solved.
